HPCT-CAE Office Team

The HPCT-CAE Office Team is at the hub of Temple operations. Executive Director Linda Tondow, Bookkeeper/Office Manager Diane Kurucz and Office Administrator Beth Spurr, supported by volunteers, keep the Temple community and its services, programs and facility running smoothly.

The website, facility management, communications, human resources, and other administrative functions fall to Linda. She secures and administers Temple grants and provides guidance to the Temple President and committees.

Diane is responsible for the Temple’s membership database, the Temple and Above & Beyond Childcare Center’s bookkeeping, and the associated record keeping, reports, and statements. Along with managing the yahrzeit plaques, she also creates the monthly bulletin.

Our auxiliary organizations, Board of Trustees and Rabbi Malomet are supported by Beth. Beth also handles the day-to-day building logistics and operations, including supervising the custodial staff, preparing the Temple’s monthly mailings, and preparing the menus and provision of food and beverages for Kiddushes and programs.

Phylicia Cook is excited to have joined the HPCT-CAE team as the Youth Engagement Coordinator. Phylicia grew up at a conservative synagogue in Boca Raton, FL where she was involved in Kadima and USY. Her love for Judaism and being in a temple started young, and she has continued to work in various Jewish jobs since then. Phylicia is passionate about bringing fun aspects of Judaism to teens, as well as bringing Jewish family programs to the synagogue to engage our youngest members. In her free time, Phylicia loves being around her family, including her husband, Rabbi Jason Cook, and their adorable 1 year old!
