Our Teen Shabbat Lunch ‘n Learn program is led by Yosef Kadegan. It is designed for post- b’nei mitzvah students.
Yosef earned a B.A. in Psychology and Minor in Music from Rutgers University-New Brunswick, and a Master of Social Work degree; he is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW).
While a Rutgers University undergraduate he was a member of their Jewish acapella group, and served as their Music Director from 2019-2020. He feels most connected to Judaism through music, as he is an avid and experienced Chazan and Ba’al Korei.
His favorite Jewish topics are Jewish History, Tanach, Jewish Philosophy, and Tefilah. Yosef has worked in a variety of educational settings and positions.
