The Temple's First Annual Welcome Back Barbecue and Athletic Competition will be held on Sunday, September 9th at Grove 5 in Johnson Park from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

In addition to the sumptuous collation of hot dogs, hamburgers, veggie burgers and other traditional barbecue fare, we have planned several events:

• From 2:30 to 3:30 there will be one or more games of Ultimate Frisbee. One team will consist of college age and under; the other team will be everyone else. The rules will be explained prior.
  
• From 3:30 to 5:00 there will be a softball game. Bring your gloves and bats.
  
• Children's programs under the able direction of Sherri Lerner throughout
  
• From 5:00 until the end we plan to have some music and singing.
  

The cost of the barbecue is $7 per person and $20 for the whole family.
