Hebrew High School
Our Hebrew High School program is offered for post-B'nei Mitzvah students in Grades 8 through 10. Classes meet each Sunday morning from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Based on feedback from members of the community, interested parents and, most importantly, from the students themselves, our curriculum is focused on challenges to Jewish identity in the modern world through the medium of stories, biographies, art, literature and the media. Along the way, we encounter many of the classic texts of our tradition, interpreting them in light of the experiences of our students, as well as providing opportunities for students to develop their conversational Hebrew skills.
Our goal is to provide an engaging, experiential program that enables learners to develop their own personal sense of Jewish identity and that affirms the ongoing relevance of the tradition in their lives.
Registration Details are found in the attached documents (see below). If you have any questions, please contact Cantor Mike Weis at hebrewhigh@hpct-cae.org.
