Age 1-Kindergarten: Torah Time
On Shabbat mornings, children sing, play games and join in activities related to the weekly Torah portion. Parents are invited to stay. The children read from the Torah and enjoy a snack. On holiday mornings, they learn related traditions and songs.
Torah Time is led by Dr. Marlene Herman, recipient of the Women's League for Conservative Judaism Baalot Mitzvah award for education and the Keter Shem Tov award from New Jersey Region of United Synagogue.
Grades 1-3: Mini-Minyan
Every Shabbat and Holiday morning, children in grades one through three gather in parent-led groups to hear stories, sing songs and discuss the weekly Torah portion.
Grades 4-6: Junior Congregation
Fourth- through sixth-graders discuss how the weekly Torah portion ties in with contemporary issues in their lives. They test their knowledge with trivia contests and games of Jewish Jeopardy.
Hebrew High School
Our Hebrew High School program is offered for post-B'nei Mitzvah students in Grades 8 through 12. Classes meet each Monday evening at 5:30 pm, and include pizza and salad. The program covers a blend of current events through a Jewish lens and is focused on tough questions Jews ask, taught by Rabbi Malomet.
